Low, Slim Back

Tokyo's low back keeps the chair compact, 34.75 inches tall and 31.5 inches wide, with a slim, softly padded cushion.

Support Through the Recline

The Plus system moves the head and lumbar support with you as you recline, so your neck and lower back are supported in each position.

High Base, Higher Seat

This chair is on the high base, which puts the seat at 20 inches, compared with 18.5 on the standard Tokyo base. The base is matte black metal.

Paloma Silver Grey

This chair is upholstered in Paloma Silver Grey, a top grain leather dyed all the way through. Stressless makes Tokyo in Norway.

Product Description

Stressless Tokyo Low Back is a compact recliner with a slim, softly padded back cushion. The Plus system adjusts the head and lumbar support as you recline, and the chair swivels on its metal base.

This chair is upholstered in Paloma Silver Grey leather and sits on a matte black base at the high height, which sets the seat at 20 inches. It measures 31.5 inches wide, 30.25 inches deep and 34.75 inches tall. Paloma is a top grain leather, dyed through, with a natural grain. Tokyo is made in Norway.

This recliner is part of the Stressless Tokyo collection, which includes matching High Back Recliner.

    Dust weekly with a dry cloth. Clean the leather with the Stressless care kit at least every six months and reapply the protection cream after cleaning. Blot spills right away. No household cleaners, solvents or steam. Keep it a foot from heat sources and out of direct sun.

Stressless warranty

Ekornes, the maker of Stressless, warrants this recliner from the date of purchase:

  • 10 years on the internal mechanism: the Plus™ system and the metal frame, including the springs and glide system
  • 5 years on the base and foam: the chair and ottoman base (swivel ring, gas lift and extensions) and all foam and padding
  • 5 years on the motor and electrical parts of power recliners
  • 2 years on optional batteries
  • 1 year on the leather or fabric upholstery, including stitching and zippers, when it has been cared for following Ekornes guidelines

Some softening and indentation of the padding is normal break-in. The warranty covers the original buyer. Ekornes supplies replacement parts and pays their shipping; it does not cover other repair costs.

Not covered: fading, or roughness from heat or sunlight; damage from spills, body fluids or pets; damage from skipped care or from cleaners Ekornes doesn't recommend; and damage from moving, alteration, misuse or unauthorized repair.
