At Valley Ridge Furniture, delivery isn't a logistics afterthought — it's the final part of your purchase, and we treat it that way. From packaging to placement, every detail is handled with the care you'd expect from our showroom.
What Delivery Costs
The delivery price you see at checkout is the price you pay. No surprises after your order.
Almost all furniture ships free across Canada. Sofas, sectionals, recliners, chairs, dining sets, bedroom furniture — if it's furniture, delivery to your door is free anywhere in Canada. This includes our Stressless, Canadel, and other large pieces.
Sofa beds & sleeper sofas: flat $199. The one exception. Sleeper sofas (like American Leather Comfort Sleepers and Innovation Living designs) contain heavy steel sleep mechanisms and need extra delivery staff, so they carry a single flat delivery fee of $199 — no matter how many sleepers are in your order.
Décor & accessories ship free, with one exception. Rugs, wall art, lighting, and other décor ship free across Canada via parcel carriers (FedEx, UPS, Canada Post). Throw pillows ship free on orders of $150 or more; below that, a $25 shipping charge applies.
New Brunswick: always free, always us. If you're in New Brunswick, our own in-house team delivers your furniture with full White Glove service, free of charge — the same way we've been doing it for over 40 years.
Delivery Options
Threshold Delivery (included free on furniture orders) Your furniture is brought to the first dry, secure area of your home — a garage, front entry, or building lobby. Assembly and placement are not included.
White Glove Delivery (optional upgrade) Want it carried in, placed, and assembled? Our premium service includes:
- A scheduled delivery appointment
- Unpacking and inspection
- Placement in your room of choice
- Assembly of most items (excluding lighting and wall-mounted pieces)
- Packaging removal for large furniture items
White Glove is quoted individually because the price depends on your items and address. Ask us before or after ordering — email — and we'll give you a firm quote. Your standard delivery stays free either way; White Glove is only ever an optional add-on.
Parcel Delivery (small items) Décor and accessories ship via standard carriers (FedEx, UPS, Canada Post). Shipping times vary by item and vendor — you'll receive tracking the moment your order is on its way.
Delivery Areas
We deliver to every province and territory in Canada. If your address has unusual access requirements — a fly-in community, ferry-access island, or similar — we'll contact you after your order to plan the details together. We'll never add delivery charges you didn't see at checkout without talking to you first.
Shipping Timeframes
- In-stock furniture: delivered within 1–3 weeks in most areas of Canada.
- Custom orders: delivery times vary by manufacturer and are confirmed when you order.
- Accessories & décor: shipping times vary by item and vendor — many in-stock pieces ship within a few days, and we'll email you tracking as soon as yours ships.
Delivery timelines may vary during peak periods or due to weather and supply-chain conditions.
Before Your Delivery
- Please make sure entryways, hallways, and staircases are accessible.
- Let us know about any access restrictions (elevators, narrow passages) when you order.
- Missed delivery appointments may be subject to re-delivery fees.
- Valley Ridge Furniture is not responsible for damage caused by improper access or site conditions.
