Ithaca Nightstand

The Ithaca Nightstand is a compact storage piece with luxurious details. This design features an artfully embellished top relief, drawer front and kick plates. Inspired by Mediterranean architecture and epic poems, the stately oak Ithaca collection incorporates contemporary lines, top dentil reliefs, etched drawer fascia, notched kick plates and antique knobs. Ithaca designs showcase a brushed finish technique, which was inspired by the serene snow-covered Canadian landscape. The brushed finishing process opens up the pores of the oak wood, allowing craftsmen to deposit a white patina in the grooves, imparting a mild weathered look. This collection is offered in four rustic finishes – grigio, owl, sugar cane, as well as a classic white.

Brothers Antonio and Michel De Bonis founded Natart in 1988 in Rome, Italy and then transferred to Quebec, Canada in 1995. Today their family-run business includes 40 employees who are considered part of the family. The De Bonis brothers lead with a positive vision and provide their unified team with a sense of purpose. Natart employees are treated with respect and are not subject to pressure. Working with peace of mind, the calm and reassuring atmosphere allows the company to produce great quality in a safe and secure work space. Natart gleans inspiration from international venues, architecture and fashion trends, striving to marry functionality with aesthetics. All designs are executed in-house by Michel De Bonis.
