Gourmet | Met Dining Chair

Canadel builds the Met dining chair for its Gourmet collection in solid birch and imported hardwoods. It's finished by hand with a catalyzed lacquer, which cleans with a damp cloth and mild soap.

The chair is 19 1/4 inches wide, 23 deep and 40 1/4 high, with the seat 18 inches from the floor. Canadel designs and tests it to hold 450 lb.

We show it with a wood seat. Canadel also makes the Met as an upholstered dining chair, in more than 50 fabrics including faux leather and Sunbrella, and offers other leg options. We show five wood colours here; the Gourmet collection comes in 18, in a matte or antique finish. Contact our team to order a colour, seat or leg not shown.

Two Met chairs fit along each long side of the HD dining table. Cognac Washed, Pecan Washed and Shadow, three of the colours shown here, are also shown on the Stiletto buffet and the Farmhouse buffet.

Canadel, a family company, has built dining furniture in Louiseville, Quebec since 1982. It makes the Met to order, and it takes 6 to 8 weeks to reach our warehouse; we book your delivery from there. We deliver Canadel to New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and PEI only, free to your door. Contact our team for a quote on room-of-choice or white glove delivery.
