Four Seasons fabrics are carefully selected to lend furniture designs a casual appeal and unsurpassed softness. For those who want their furnishings to repel stains and liquids, and resist fading from sunlight, Four Seasons' Life Approved Fabrics are an excellent option, and are pre-washed for added softness and machine washability. Standard fabrics include a variety of soft cotton twills, cotton prints, great linens, plush velvets, and cuddly chenilles. Dry cleaning these fabrics is recommended to ensure their long life.

Four Seasons offers 4 types of seating, Standard, Firm, Feather Blend, and Comfort Chic. The Standard cushion features a 1.8 (HR) High Resiliency Foam. Surrounding the core is 2 ounces of luxurious slick polyester fibre, while the cushion is secured with a high quality three hundred thread count, UFAC approved, down proof ticking (fully upholstered frames use accord ticking to encase the cushions). This exceptional seat offers the best durability and comfort available in the upholstered furniture industry. Four Seasons does suggest fluffing and turning of the cushions periodically to enhance the look and life of the cushion.

The Firm cushion is constructed of the same premium quality, high durability materials as the Standard cushion, with a firmer seat for those who prefer the extra support. Tucked inside a zip-away Featherbarrier duvet cover, the Feather Blend cushion uses 1.8 HR foam create a strong, supportive core. Composed of 50% Ultima Supreme Fibre, 45% duck feather, and 5% duck down, the Feather Blend cushion offers excellent resiliency and crown. Note that all Four Seasons accent chairs come standard with Feather Blend Cushions. The Comfort Chic cushion sees 1.8 lb HR foam encased in Trillium, a high-end micro denier fibre, and placed inside cotton ticking, creating the luxury of an all-down cushion at a fraction of the cost.

After all, you can't have a great piece of furniture without a great frame. All frames are constructed of 7/8" engineered all wood, while each joint is interlocked and glued for strength. To make sure the corner joints are good and strong, corner blocking is added, glued into place and nailed down. Into that frame, Four Seasons places the newly designed steel spring drop-in coil unit to make sure your seat is thoroughly luxurious.
