We have Royal in Paloma Metal Grey on a polished aluminum base, and in Paloma Black on a matte black base.

The Metal Grey chair sits on the high base, with a 19.25 inch seat; the Black chair is on the standard base, with a 17.75 inch seat.

Each Royal chair comes with its ottoman. Royal is upholstered in Paloma leather and made in Norway.

Product Description

Stressless Royal is a recliner on the metal Original base. The Plus system keeps your head and lower back supported as you recline: sitting upright, the lumbar support fills the small of your back, and as you lean back the headrest moves forward so you can still read or watch television.

We have Royal in stock in two builds, each with its ottoman: Paloma Metal Grey on a polished aluminum base at the high height, with a 19.25 inch seat, and Paloma Black on a matte black base at the standard height, with a 17.75 inch seat. The chair is 32.75 inches wide and 30.25 inches deep, and Royal is made in Norway.

    Dust weekly with a dry cloth. Clean the leather with the Stressless care kit at least every six months and reapply the protection cream after cleaning. Blot spills right away. No household cleaners, solvents or steam. Keep it a foot from heat sources and out of direct sun.

Limited Warranty

Stressless warranty

Ekornes, the maker of Stressless, warrants this recliner from the date of purchase:

  • 10 years on the internal mechanism: the Plus™ system and the metal frame, including the springs and glide system
  • 5 years on the base and foam: the chair and ottoman base (swivel ring, gas lift and extensions) and all foam and padding
  • 5 years on the motor and electrical parts of power recliners
  • 2 years on optional batteries
  • 1 year on the leather or fabric upholstery, including stitching and zippers, when it has been cared for following Ekornes guidelines

Some softening and indentation of the padding is normal break-in. The warranty covers the original buyer. Ekornes supplies replacement parts and pays their shipping; it does not cover other repair costs.

Not covered: fading, or roughness from heat or sunlight; damage from spills, body fluids or pets; damage from skipped care or from cleaners Ekornes doesn't recommend; and damage from moving, alteration, misuse or unauthorized repair.
