Consul comes in Small, Medium and Large. The Small is 28.3 inches wide with a 15.0 inch seat height, the Large 33.5 inches with a 16.5 inch seat.

Reclines With Your Weight

The Glide system lets the chair recline as you lean back, no levers, and the Plus system moves the head and lumbar support with you.

Classic Wood Base

The base comes in all eight Stressless wood finishes, and the chair swivels 360 degrees. Stressless also makes an elevator ring that raises the chair.

Ten Leathers, Made in Norway

We list ten colours in Batick, Cori and Paloma; Batick's protective finish lets spills wipe away easily. Consul is made in Norway.

Product Description

Stressless Consul is a recliner with simple lines, here on the Classic wood base. Lean back and the Glide system reclines it with your body weight, with no levers to find, while the Plus system moves the head and lumbar support with you. The chair swivels a full 360 degrees.

Consul comes in three sizes. The Small is 28.3 inches wide with a 15.0 inch seat height, the Medium 29.9 inches with a 15.7 inch seat, and the Large 33.5 inches with a 16.5 inch seat. We list ten colours across Batick, Cori and Paloma leathers, with all eight wood finishes. Consul is made in Norway.

Stressless also makes Consul in Velaro and Noblesse leathers and in fabric; ask us if you'd like one of those. For a slightly higher seat and a gentle rocking motion, look at the Consul Signature.

This recliner is part of the Stressless Consul collection, which includes matching Signature Recliner.

Delivery to your door is free, and your recliner arrives assembled. Contact our team for a quote on room-of-choice or white glove delivery.
