Power in Both Seats

Each seat reclines its back and lifts its leg rest by motor, on its own, and its headrest moves by power too.

Steel Arm Trim

The legs you see under the arms are steel, in matte black or polished metal. The seats rest on low black wood legs that barely show.

Close to the Wall

The sofa needs only 3.1 inches of space behind it to recline, so it can stand near a wall.

Made in Norway

Stressless builds Emily in Norway. We list it in seven Paloma leathers: Chocolate, Fog, Light Grey, Mushroom, New Cognac, Oxford Blue and Sand.

Product Description

The Stressless Emily Steel 2-Seater Sofa puts power in both seats. Each one reclines its back and lifts its leg rest by motor, and each has a power headrest, so two people can sit at different angles side by side.

This is Emily with steel arm trim, in matte black or polished metal, on 3.15 inch black wood legs that barely show. It is 67.7 inches wide with a 17.7 inch seat height, and needs only 3.1 inches behind it to recline. Paloma is a top grain leather, dyed through; we list it in seven colours, and Emily is made in Norway.

For wood on the arms, see the Emily Wood 2-Seater Sofa; for broader arms, the Emily Wide Arm 2-Seater Sofa. Stressless also makes Emily in other leathers and fabrics; ask us.

This sofa is part of the Stressless Emily collection, which includes matching 2-Seater Sofa with Long Seat, 3-Seater Sofa, 3-Seater Sofa with Long Seat, 4-Seater Sofa, Chair, C12 Corner Sofa, C22 Corner Sofa and C22 Corner Sofa with Long Seat.

We received our 2-seater “Oslo” Sofa late last week & we are absolutely thrilled!

We received our 2-seater Oslo Sofa late last week & we are absolutely thrilled with it.
Our search for this sofa began late last year and upon finding the Valley Ridge furniture store (located in Fredricton NB ) who advertised it, we called and connected with a sales associate “Robbie Clark” to learn more about it.
An outstanding customer service representative, Robbie provided answers to our questions, virtual colour samples of the leather and wood to help us choose, & promptly returned all our calls/ emails promptly where needed. Needless to say, we placed our order for the sofa from far away Northern Ontario with our fingers crossed. We’ve never purchased a piece of furniture online without seeing it in person so we did feel more than slightly anxious.
The sofa arrived professionally packaged within a much earlier than expected timeframe, is a wonderful addition to our home and is simply stunning. We were shocked that shipping was included with our order & we were also provided with a small yet much appreciated discount for making this first time purchase. It won’t be our last from this wonderful store.
Thank you Robbie for your excellent customer service & thank you Valley Ridge!
