Modlad Counter Stool

The Modlad counter stool is solid birch with a wood seat. It's hand-assembled and hand-finished in Louiseville, with a catalyzed lacquer that cleans with a damp cloth and mild soap. For a kitchen with a table as well as a counter, it's made to match Canadel's Lat dining chair.

The stool is 18 1/2 inches wide, 22 deep and 41 1/2 high, a counter stool for a 36-inch counter or one of Canadel's counter-height tables. Canadel designs and tests its stools to hold 450 lb.

The one shown has a wood seat on a fixed base. Canadel also makes the Modlad with an upholstered seat in more than 150 fabrics, faux leathers, leathers and velvets, including Crypton and InsideOut performance fabrics; as a swivel stool, with arms available on the swivel; and at bar height (30 inches). Canadel's Trendler swivels carry a lifetime warranty for household use by the original purchaser.

Canadel, a family company, has built dining furniture in Louiseville, Quebec since 1982. It makes the Modlad to order, and it takes 6 to 8 weeks to reach our warehouse; we book your delivery from there. Delivery to your door is free. Furniture Warranty: We offer a one-year limited warranty covering manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, effective from the date of delivery, unless otherwise specified, depending on the product.

Mattress Warranty: Our mattresses are covered by a 10-year limited warranty that protects against manufacturing defects.

Outdoor Furniture Warranty: The frames and structural components of outdoor furniture are covered for three years against defects. Outdoor fabrics have a one-year manufacturer's warranty.

Exclusions: Normal wear and tear, damage from improper use, exposure to extreme conditions, or modifications are not covered.
