About Shedding

Expect some shedding, as with any hand-knotted rug. Vacuum on low, shake it gently from time to time, and have it professionally cleaned if shedding continues.

Product Description

Kendra is a hand-knotted Dash & Albert rug made in India from 70% wool, 20% cotton and 10% polyester, with a pile about three-quarters of an inch deep. Stepped medallions run down an olive field, set inside a wide soft gold border and an outer band of pale sky blue, with small touches of rust.

It is part of the Masterpiece Collection, which Dash & Albert bases on traditional Turkish Oushak rugs, and each end is finished with a fringe. Kendra comes in one colourway, Sky, as a 2'6" x 8' runner and in 5' x 8', 6' x 9', 7'6" x 9'6", 8'6" x 11'6" and 9'6" x 13'6".

Like every hand-knotted rug, it may shed some. Vacuum it on a low setting and shake it gently now and then; if it keeps shedding, professional cleaning helps remove the loose fibres.
