The Nantucket dining chair boasts a gracefully curving back and angled seat specifically crafted for comfort and style, and usable with or without cushions. The Nantucket bar and counter chairs demonstrate the same exceptional comfort as the dining chair, plus the front footrest is fitted with a solid brass plate to protect the teak wood.
The classic Nantucket chaise adjusts to four positions, including horizontal, for optimal comfort. Solid teak wheels allow for movement of the chaise with minimum effort. The drink tray easily attaches underneath the chaise. It slides smoothly to the left or right side of the chaise for individualized convenience. The chaise arms connect to the side frames using solid brass hardware. The Nantucket tables look homey and comfortable next to the other Nantucket collection furniture.

Kingsley Bate is the first American company to use Javanese teak in the manufacture of its furniture. All teak is harvested from carefully controlled plantations: the Indonesian government allows the felling of a limited number of trees each year, and ensures that an equal amount of reforestation takes place. In 1983 Kingsley Bate, in conjunction with the Indonesian government and its people, undertook to develop a teak furniture program in Java. Since then, Indonesia and Kingsley Bate have shown that such a program can be implemented without detriment to that country's natural resources.
