Power Recline

A light press on the control panel reclines the motorized back and raises the integrated footrest, so there is no separate ottoman to place.

Head and Lumbar Support

The Plus system adjusts the head and lumbar support as the back reclines, so you can read or watch television lying back.

Wood Moon Base

The Moon base is wood, in brown, smoked oak, walnut or wenge. Stressless makes a swivel kit for the base in three heights; ask us.

Three Sizes, Made in Lithuania

Max comes in Small, Medium and Large, with seat heights of 18.9 to 19.7 inches, in six Paloma leathers. Stressless makes it in Lithuania.

Product Description

Stressless Max is a power recliner with a footrest built into the chair. A light press on the control panel reclines the back and raises the footrest, and the Plus system adjusts the head and lumbar support as you go back.

We list Max in Small, Medium and Large, 33.5 to 37.4 inches wide, with a seat height of 18.9 inches on the Small and Medium and 19.7 on the Large. Fully reclined, the Large measures 70.5 inches front to back. We list six Paloma leathers, on a wood Moon base in brown, smoked oak, walnut or wenge. Max is made in Lithuania.

Stressless makes Max in every Paloma colour, in all eight wood finishes and on a steel base. A rechargeable battery and a swivel kit are also available; ask us.

    Dust weekly with a dry cloth. Clean the leather with the Stressless care kit at least every six months and reapply the protection cream after cleaning. Blot spills right away. No household cleaners, solvents or steam. Keep it a foot from heat sources and out of direct sun.

Limited Warranty

Stressless warranty

Ekornes, the maker of Stressless, warrants this recliner from the date of purchase:

  • 10 years on the internal mechanism: the Plus™ system and the metal frame, including the springs and glide system
  • 5 years on the base and foam: the chair and ottoman base (swivel ring, gas lift and extensions) and all foam and padding
  • 5 years on the motor and electrical parts of power recliners
  • 2 years on optional batteries
  • 1 year on the leather or fabric upholstery, including stitching and zippers, when it has been cared for following Ekornes guidelines

Some softening and indentation of the padding is normal break-in. The warranty covers the original buyer. Ekornes supplies replacement parts and pays their shipping; it does not cover other repair costs.

Not covered: fading, or roughness from heat or sunlight; damage from spills, body fluids or pets; damage from skipped care or from cleaners Ekornes doesn't recommend; and damage from moving, alteration, misuse or unauthorized repair.
