Product Description

Kali is a Dash & Albert machine washable rug that borrows the lattice of one of the company's jute weaves: ivory lines crossing in diamonds over a natural ground, with a charcoal dot at every crossing. Made of 100% polyester, it is about 0.15 inch thick.

Dash & Albert suggests it for entryways, mudrooms and kitchens, and for homes with pets. Sizes 5' x 8' and smaller go in a 4.2 cubic foot or larger washer on cold with a mild detergent and no bleach; hang or lay flat to dry. Spot clean the 6' x 9' and 7'6" x 9'6", or have them cleaned professionally.

It comes in Natural, in seven sizes from 2' x 3' to 7'6" x 9'6", including a 2'6" x 8' runner. For the woven jute version, see the Kali Handwoven Jute Rug.

  • Care
Vacuum regularly to clean up dirt and debris. When vacuuming, set the vacuum so that the brush is the furthest away from the surface of the carpet. Rug sizes 5'x8' and smaller are machine washable; for best results use a standard 4.2+ Cu. Ft. or larger washer machine. Wash separately using cold water and a mild detergent; do not bleach. Hang or lay flat to dry; do not machine dry. Due to size, we recommend either spot cleaning rug sizes 6'x9' and 8' x10' or having them professionally cleaned in an extra-large capacity washing machine. Please note: if your rug arrives folded, it may take up to two weeks for any creases to relax.
